Madonna on 'Born This way': 'a wonderful redo of my song'
Madonna has been chatting to the press to hype the release of her new film "W.E.," sitting down for interviews on the ABC news magazine show "Nightline" and "The Graham Norton Show" in the UK.
The pop star also recently spoke to "Newsweek" for an article due out in the magazine's January 30 issue. In the story, she addresses a controversy that erupted a year ago when Lady Gaga released her single "Born This Way" and critics and fans alike noted it's similarity -- both structural and thematic -- to her 1989 empowerment anthem "Express Yourself."
Asked by the "Newsweek" reporter for her thoughts on the song, Madonna replied: “I thought, what a wonderful way to redo my song. I mean, I recognized the chord changes. I thought it was…interesting.”
Madonna will perform her new single "Give Me All Your Luvin'" at the Super Bowl on Feburary 5 and her 12th studio album "M.D.N.A." is due out in the spring.

Poor Madge, such cheap attention-getting tactics are beneath you. Or, beneath who you were thirty years ago, anyway.
