Madonna reveals album title: 'MDNA'

Madonna

Madonna announced the name of her upcoming studio album during a pre-recorded appearance on a British chat show, "The Graham Norton Show." The singer revealed the record will be called "MDNA," and joked that it might be out sooner than she expects: "It depends how quickly people hack into my server and leak it,” she said. “Can people wait? It’s terrible.”

Last fall a demo of the album's lead single "Give Me All Your Luvin'" hit the Internet, prompting Madge's manager to take to Twitter to ask her fans to help track down the culprit. A month later Spanish police arrested a man in the northern Spanish city Zaragoza and charged him for the leak.

Host Graham Norton also apparently asked Madonna for her thoughts on Lady Gaga, with whom she is often compared, and she replied, “When I first saw her I was really impressed by her and she was cool. She did remind me of me back in the day,” she said. “I do think she is very talented.”

The episode of "The Graham Norton Show" featuring Madonna is due to air on Friday, January 13.
