Florence and The Machine prep 'MTV Unplugged' album

British band Florence and The Machine will release a live album on April 9 that was recorded during an MTV Unplugged session last December

The acoustic performance took place in New York City and featured singer Florence Welch, three members of her band and a 10-piece gospel choir.

In addition to hits such as "Dog Days Are Over" and "No Light No Light," the 11-song set included covers of Otis Redding's "Try A Little Tenderness" and a duet with Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme on "Jackson," a song made famous by Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash.

Famous faces in the audience included rappers Kanye West and Q-Tip.
