Coachella announces 2013 dates

Organizers of the Coachella festival have set the dates for next year's festival. Once again, the annual Indio, California event will take place over two weekends on April 12-14 and April 19-21, according to the festival's official website.

Advances passes for the first weekend will go on sale for one week beginning on Thursday (May 17) at 10 p.m. PST. The sale will be the only opportunity for fans to take advantage of the Coachella Purchase Plan. There will also be a new pricing system put in place for 2013. "The price you see is what you pay – prices reflect all fees included," the site reads. A general ticket sale will take place early next year.
