Mick Jagger to host, perform on 'Saturday Night Live'

Mick Jagger will host and perform on the season finale of Saturday Night Live on May 19.

The appearance will mark The Rolling Stones frontman's third on the late-night sketch show. In 1978, he and the rest of the Stones co-hosted and performed in a handful of sketches and he also appeared on the show in 2001 with then-cast member Jimmy Fallon.

Jagger's most recent album was with his band SuperHeavy. However, since the Rolling Stones are gearing up for their 50th anniversary in the music industry, it's more likely he'll play Stones songs. It's still not clear what the band has planned to mark the milestone.
