Prince Harry hones chops as reggae DJ

Prince Harry

Britain's Prince Harry is reportedly training to become an old school reggae DJ following a recent trip to Jamaica earlier this year where he met Rita Marley, widow of late reggae icon Bob Marley.

According to The Sun newspaper, the royal has amassed a huge collection of reggae on vinyl from online specialty shops and is learning how to mix old-school style with help from a club DJ friend.

"Harry has always been interested in music, but Jamaica was a real eye opener. He started looking into reggae as soon as he got back to the U.K.," a source told the tab. "Meeting Rita Marley was a great inspiration too. She seems to have had a big impact on him."

However, don't get too excited about booking the prince for your next basement jam or soundclash. "He’s unlikely to ever DJ in public," the insider added. "But if he did it’d be the party of the year."
