Skrillex, Diplo to remix Michael Jackson

Skrillex

Producers/DJs Skrillex, Diplo and A-Trak will remix Michael Jackson's Bad album to mark its 25th anniversary.

Billboard reports that soft drink giant Pepsi has commissioned several remixers to rework Jackson's iconic pop album for a mid-May release that will be timed with the soft drink giant's latest ad campaign. Fans will only be able to access the exclusive tracks through a special Pepsi can promotion by scanning a code with their phone to hear a song.

The late pop superstar has had a long history with Pepsi. He struck a groundbreaking endorsment deal with the brand in the early 1980s and starred in their ads. In one notorious incident, his hair caught fire during a 1984 commercial shoot.
