Van Halen scrap 31 dates on reunion tour

Van Halen 1

Van Halen have abruptly postponed 31 North American dates on their reunion tour. All dates from July 7 through September 25 have been scrapped without explanation, including a Canadian concert in London, Ontario scheduled on July 21.

However, all dates scheduled up to the band's May 26 in New Orleans will go ahead as planned.

Van Halen's members have a long-history of feuding. A source close to the tour told Rolling Stone that they currently "hate each other." "The band is arguing like mad," the source said. "They are fighting."

Local promoters, meanwhile, were upset and dismayed by the news as tickets are selling well. "You want to know the absolute f***in' truth? I have no f***in' idea," another concert-business source told the mag.

Van Halen recently reunited with original singer David Lee Roth, signed a new deal with Interscope Records and released A Different Kind of Truth, their first album with Roth since 1984, earlier this year.
