Airline loses Ed Sheeran's guitars

Delta Airlines apparently lost two of Ed Sheeran's guitars.

On Thursday (June 21), the British singer-songwriter took to Twitter to complain that his prized possessions, dubbed "Cyril" and "Nigel," did not make it to their final destination after a flight on the American carrier.

"So after Delta messing up the flight over here, they have lost both guitars," he wrote. "Bring back Cyril and Nigel."

However, the instruments turned up eventually. "Cyril and nigel are now safe and sound," he wrote on Friday.

A rising talent in North America, the 21-year-old recently broke a U.S. chart record when his debut album, + ,entered the Billboard 200 at number five, making it the highest chart debut by a British male artist. He also reently performed at the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto and spent time writing material for country pop star Taylor Swift's next album.
