Axl Rose robbed of jewelry in Paris
Axl Rose was robbed of $200,000 in jewelry after performing a concert in Paris on Tuesday (June 5).
NME reports that the Guns N' Roses frontman was attending a private gathering at Bercy Stadium where three gold-and-diamond necklaces were taken. French police are now investigating.
A spokesperson for the band offered few details except that Rose apparently wasn't wearing the jewelry at the time and that he was "fuming" after the theft.
According to the magazine, the incident follows a troubled U.K. arena tour. Rose and his bandmates made headlines for their late start times, by refusing entry to fans wearing clothes featuring ex-Guns N' Roses members and by threatening to walk off the stage during a gig at London's O2 Arena after angry fans pelted them with money and pint glasses.
