Michael Jackson's family members mark anniversary of his death
Michael Jackson's family members have paid tribute to the late pop icon in a series of tweets and interviews to mark the three-year anniversary of his death.
Earlier today, Paris Jackson, the star's 14-year-old daugther, took to Twitter to remember her father. "RIP Michael Jackson," she wrote. "Dad you will forever be in my heart <3 i love you."
Meanwhile, Jackson's brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon are in the midst of a Jackson 5 reunion tour that's due to arrive in Cleveland, Atlantic City and New York this week. In an interview with UK newspaper The Daily Telegraph, Jermaine Jackson said that it's been hard performing without his brother.
"The brothers don't know this, but I've broken down several times and cried during rehearsals," he said. ,"I'm so used to Michael being on the right and then Marlon, Jackie, on and on. It's just something we never get used to."
Marlon added: "For me, this cycle that comes around every year - this day, that day - that doesn't affect me because it affects me every day. When that day comes around, it's the same. You learn to live with it. I still wake up sometimes and go, 'Jeez. I can't believe my brother's not here.'"
Sister LaToya acknowledged the anniversary with a solemn tweet. "Sad morning all," she wrote. "This day was the day that lead to the demise of my little brother. 'Michael We Love' May you RIP. Gone FAR To Soon."
Jackson died on June 25, 2009 from an overdose of the anesthetic propofol. His physician, Conrad Murray, was later convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to four years behind bars.

Being a huge Michael Jackson fan i feel a tremendous loss not only because Michael was the greatest entertainer, dancer, artist to have ever lived but he was an incredible person. People seem to forget that he was not just MJ The King of Pop. He was a father, brother, son, uncle, friend, etc. I can only imagine the loss the Jackson Family fear each year at the anniversary but each day iam sure he is not far from their thoughts. He's gone yes but his music and his gentle loving soul will forever be in all our hearts. Miss you Michael, always and forever xo

It was so strange because right at 2:30 pm, when Michael died, give or take a couple of minutes, I stopped everything I was doing and took a few moments of silence to pay my respects to the greatest entertainer of all time, and to a wonderful, beautiful man, and humanitarian. I miss him so much still, and I doubt that loss will ever go away, he deserved a lot more respect than what he got. Michael Joseph Jackson....R.I.P. And know you are still loved, and thought of, and missed every single day....I love you for all time....Deanna X0X0X0X0X0X
