Demi Lovato to host Teen Choice Awards

Demi Lovato will host the 2012 Teen Choice Awards, producers announced on Monday (July 9).

The pop star, who is in the midst of a summer tour and will soon be seen as a judge on Simon Cowell's singing competition The X-Factor, will join a roster of talent that includes Miley Cyrus, Zac Efron, Selena Gomez, Josh Hutcherson, Lea Michele and Taylor Swift.

Acts slated to perform at the award show include Justin Bieber, No Doubt, Flo Rida and Carly Rae Jepsen.

The Teen Choice Awards 2012 will air Sunday, July 22 on Fox.
