Madonna closes down Italian museum for private tour
An Italian art museum in reportedly closed its doors to regular visitors in order to give Madonna a private tour.
MTV reports (via WENN) that the Uffizi Gallery in Florence agreed to shut down after the pop diva offered an undisclosed amount of money to take in its artwork in private while she was in the country last month on her global 'MDNA' tour.
Madonna, 53, toured the 16th century art museum with a 15-person entourage that included her boyfriend Brahim Zaibat and her 11-year-old son Rocco.
"Madonna was very interested in the works of Botticelli, but also in the explanations about the paintings involving pagan and sacred myths," art expert and museum guide Cristina Acidini told WENN.
