Patrick Watson: New 'Backyard' video premiere

Pwatson
Patrick Watson today unleashed the second in a series of ‘Backyard’ mini-documentary videos in support of his latest album, Adventures in Your Own Backyard -- and we have the latest instalment, here on MSN Canada! Check it out after the jump.

The video brings Watson and his band to Brooklyn, New York, and introduces painter Rodney Dickson — a longtime friend who inspired both the title of Close to Paradise, and the artwork for Wooden Arms. The video juxtaposes two performances of Adventures cut “Noisy Sunday,” one version in Dickson’s studio, and another at the Manhattan Inn as part of a special intimate performance for friends and media.

Watson and his band continue to tour the world in support of the critically acclaimed album, including a mini tour of Quebec and big shows towards the end of the year in Victoria, Vancouver, Quebec City, and the previously announced Massey Hall performance in Toronto on December 6th.

November 14th - Victoria @ Alix Goolden Hall

November 15th - Vancouver @ Centres for the performing arts

December 6th -  Toronto @ Massey Hall
