Alanis Morissette announces North American tour

Alanis Morissette 1

Alanis Morissette will embark on a North American tour this fall in support of her seventh studio album, Havoc and Bright Lights.

The Canadian singer-songwriter's "Guardian Angel Tour 2012" will kick off on August 25 in Montclair, NJ and wrap up on November 1 in Phoenix, AZ. The 25-date trek includes three Canadian shows in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. Her set list will include tracks from the new record as well as a selection of classics.

"The songs from the last 17 years are blending together like great friends. Thankfully, there is a timelessness in their content and passion, for me," she said in a statement. "The show covers the gamut of every chord choice and every emotion I have ever felt. I am spent afterwards, happily so."

Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster on August 17. Check out the list of Alanis Morissette's Canadian dates below:

October 4 - Vancouver, BC @ Centre for Performing Arts
October 15 - Toronto, ON @ Sound Academy
October 16 - Montreal, QC @ Metropolis
