Barbra Streisand announces fall tour dates

Barbra Streisand will embark on a short North American arena tour in October, Billboard reports. Due to begin in Philadelphia on October 8, the eight-day trek will wrap up with a show at Vancouver's Rogers Centre on October 29 and includes stops in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto.

Jazz trumpeter Chris Botti and operatic trio Il Volo will open all eight shows. Tickets for the music legend's Montreal  concert will go on sale on August 11 and all other tickets will be available beginning August 13. Check out all of Babs' 2012 Canadian dates below:

October 17 - Montreal, QC @ Bell Centre
October 20 - Ottawa, ON @ Scotiabank Place
October 23 - Toronto, ON @ Air Canada Centre
