Carly Rae Jepsen 3

Carly Rae Jepsen will release her sophomore album Kiss on September 18.

The Canadian pop star, who's song "Call Me Maybe" has been atop the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for weeks, worked with producers Max Martin, Dallas Austin, LMFAO's Redfoo, Toby Gad, Marianas Trench singer Josh Ramsay and Matthew Koma on the record. She also collaborated with Owl City on the single "Good Time."

"These are lyric and song ideas that I have been collecting over the years," she said in a statement. "The record is pop. It's inspired by Robyn, the Cars, Madonna, and believe it or not, James Taylor. I can't wait to share it with everyone!"
The star is also due to begin a North American trek as Justin Bieber's opening act on September 29.
