Frank Ocean cancels European tour with Coldplay

Frank Ocean has abruptly pulled out of a European tour that included several festival appearances and opening dates for British band Coldplay', Billboard reports.

The R&B singer posted an apology on his Facebook page for the cancellations but was vague in explaining the reasons behind the decision.

"Let me start by saying I feel like an a****** right now but a tough decision had to be made in regard to my schedule over the next months," he wrote, "and the casualties of that decision include my appearances at upcoming festivals in Europe and my opening slot of the European leg of the Coldplay world tour. Sorry as f***, I’ll be back if you’ll have me."

Ocean recently cancelled a show in Detroit, citing illness, and ended a gig at Norway's Oya Festival four songs into his set on account of vocal problems.

A member of Los Angeles hip-hop collective Odd Future, Ocean is one of the most-talked about new artists of the year. His debut album, Channel Orange, was released to rave reviews in July and bowed at number two on the Billboard 200 album chart.
