Adele's Bond theme due in October: report

Adele 4

Adele's James Bond theme will be called "Let The Sky Fall" and is due out in October, according to Showbiz411.

A reporter for the website has heard snippets of the track and describes it as an "ominous, dramatic ballad, with lots of gorgeous horn flourishes" that is "classic 007 in the manner of the best Bond songs."

The song was co-written by Adele and a collaborator (likely producer Paul Epworth, the site reports) and marks the British soul singer's first new material since her smash hit 2011 album 21. The track will reportedly come out during the first week of October via Sony Music, a month ahead of the official soundtrack release.

The next Bond flick, Skyfall, will hit theatres in November.
