Lady Antebellum to release Christmas album

Lady Antebellum

Country trio Lady Antebellum are following up their mega-selling Own The Night album with a Christmas record.

Due out on October 22, On This Winter's Night will feature 11 holiday standards plus one original song (the title track). The band recorded the album in Nashville with producer Paul Worley.

"We recorded this album in two sections, but both times were in the summertime," Dave Haywood said in a statement. "It is always weird to be in the studio working on Christmas music in June and July, so we decorated the entire studio, we really did. We brought out lights, fake trees and decorated the place to get in the Christmas spirit. You'd leave the studio, and it'd be 100 degrees out in Nashville, but nonetheless, a great experience."
