Madonna calls President Obama a "black Muslim"
Madonna gave a profanity-laced endorsement for U.S. President Barack Obama's re-election bid during a concert in Washington, D.C. last night (September 24).
However, as Gawker points out, the Material Girl made a glaring factual error during her fiery speech when she referred to the President, who is a practicing Christian, as a "Muslim."
She also stripped down to her bra to reveal the President's name written on her back and insisted that she wold "take it all off" if he is re-elected in November.
"You all better vote for f***ing Obama okay," she told the crowd at Washington, D.C.'s Verizon Center. "For better or for worse, we have a black Muslim in the White House! Now that is the s***! That means there is hope in this country. Obama is fighting for gay rights. Show some support for the man, goddamnit!"
Perhaps Madonna was making an attempt at sarcasm by repeating the oft-reported error. Judge for yourself by watching a video of her speech here.
