Obama reacts to Nicki Minaj's Romney endorsement

Barack Obama

President Barack Obama isn't convinced that Nicki Minaj is a Republican.

In a phone interview with Orlando radio station Power 95.3 on Monday (September 10), the United States' commander-in-chief mused that the eccentric rapper was probably tapping into one of her many personas when she rapped the line, "I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney, you lazy b*****s is f***ing up the economy" on a song off Lil Wayne's recently-released Dedication 4 mixtape.

"Yeah, I'm not sure that's actually what happened," Obama said the host asked for his thoughts on Minaj's Romney shout out. "I think she had a song on there, a little rap that said that. But she likes to play different characters. So I don't know what's going on there."
