Psy will perform topless if "Gangnam Style" hits No. 1
South Korean pop sensation Psy has promised to perform topless if his surprise hit "Gangnam Style" if it reaches number one on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, Reuters reports.
The chubby K-pop singer, who considered a left-field act in a Korean music industry dominated by polished boy bands and female starlets, scored a surprise hit in the United States with the K-pop track and has since landed a deal with Island Records.
"If it ranks number one in the Billboard chart, then I will perform 'Gangnam Style' topless in a place where everyone can watch," he told reporters after returning home from his a U.S. publicity tour.
The music video for "Gangnam Style," which is named after the upscale Seoul suburb of Gangnam, came out in July and has inspired a dance craze in the United States and around the world. The video has been viewed more than 270 million times on YouTube.
