The Rolling Stones to release greatest hits, two new tracks

The Rolling Stones will release a greatest hit compilation featuring two new sonsg on November 13 as part of the band's 50th anniversary celebrations.

GRRR! will be available in four formats: a three-CD, 50-track collection with a 24-page booklet; a three-CD, 50-track deluxe edition with a 36-page hardback book and five postcards; a 4-CD, 80-track 'super deluxe edition' with a bonus CD, poster, give postcards and a seven-inch single; and a 50-track 12-inch vinyl box set. All versions will come with a cover sleeve painting by artist Walton Ford (above).

The two new tracks are "Gloom And Doom” and “One Last Shot”, two studio recordings recently completed by the group in Paris, France in August 2012. The songs mark the first original Stones material since 2005's A Bigger Bang LP.

The Stones will reportedly play four special shows in London and Brooklyn in November to coincide with the release of GRRR! and the career-spanning documentary Crossfire Hurricane will premiere on HBO on November 15.
