Usher talks custody battle in Oprah interview
Usher is the latest star to sit down for a candid chat with Oprah Winfrey.
On September 16, the R&B star will be the subject of the talk show queen's OWN interview series Oprah's Next Chapter and will address his divorce from wife Tameka Foster, their bitter child custody battle which resulted in Usher receiving full custody of their two children and his tumultuous relationship with his mother.
In a teaser clip that's styled like a Hollywood a movie trailer, Winfrey poses a number of probing questions to the singer such as: "Have you been an absentee father?", "Were you faithful to her?" and "Have you or do you make love to your own music?"
It's not clear whether he will talk about the recent death of his 11-year-old stepson Kile Glover, who died in July following a boating accident.
