Bieber's manager slams Grammy snub
Justin Bieber's manager is not happy about Justin Bieber's Grammy snub. After the Canadian pop star failed to receive any Grammy nominations last night (December 6), his superstar manager Scooter Braun took to Twitter to vent his frustrations.
"I just plain DISAGREE," Scooter Braun wrote. "The kid deserved it. Grammy board u blew it on this one."
Bieber released his second album Believe last June and has since scored two top 10 hits in the United States with the singles "Boyfriend" and "As Long As You Love Me." The album's third single, "Beauty and the Beat" featuring rapper Nicki Minaj is currently in the top 20 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.
Although he swept the fan-voted American Music Awards last month, Bieber's accomplishments failed to win over his industry peers on the committees that determine the Grammy nominees.
"The hardest thing to do is transition, keep the train moving. the kid
delivered," Braun tweeted. "Huge succesful album, sold out tour, and won people over. This time he deserved to be recognized and I don't really have any
kind nice positive things to say about a decision i dont agree with.
"So to all those nominated. you do deserve it," he added. "You worked hard and u earned it. Just feel like so did JB."
The 55th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony will take place on February 10, 2013 in Los Angeles. Check out the full list of nominees here.

You have to know how to sing to get nominations. Getting all the little girls excited is not enough!! Talent, please, where is it???
Posted by: shansi | Dec 6, 2012 2:58:57 PM
I'm sure he worked very hard. Too bad he can't sing.
Posted by: SANTA | Dec 6, 2012 3:02:07 PM
OH PLEASE
LOOK AT THIS AS A OPPORTUNITY FOR MORE IMPROVEMENT NEEDED FOR THE NEXT TIME. JUST AS JUSTIN HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL , THERE ARE MANY OTHERS OUT THERE. USE THIS A OPPORTUNITY TO WORK HARDER AT ACHIEVING SUCCESS FOR NEXT YEAR.
YOUR COMMENTS WILL HAVE A NEG IMPACT GOING FORWARD.

Your kidding right? This manufactured toy is no star, no singer, no nothing. A figment of the tween hormonal excrusion. Typical crap. No grammie unless you actually have talent.
Posted by: Tim Dreger | Dec 6, 2012 3:06:22 PM
Someone needs to remind Scooter Braun that it is about the music, not album sales. Ya, right.
Posted by: P.G. | Dec 6, 2012 3:35:16 PM
Give your head a shake! a following of teens, probably none over 14 years old , does not qualify for a grammy. You actually need Talent.
I laughed when i read the article Justin want's to be the next Michael Jackson, the boy is dreaming in colour. Michael had talent and could sing, nd also entertain crous of all ages.

I guess there were no 11yo girl peers on these selection committees; just people who actually recognize talent or the lack thereof.
Posted by: LYNN | Dec 6, 2012 4:17:41 PM
I personallly don't think he can sing; his backup make enough noise to cover his lack of talent and he does a great deal of jumping and gyrating on the stage so the audience doesn't notice his shortcomings; it could also be because he is Canadian and the US is super biased!
Posted by: Jibby | Dec 6, 2012 4:19:13 PM
I think they got it right, as did most of the comments! No talent = No nominations. His appeal is strictly young girls who are easy influenced by "cute" boys whether they are good are not. Sorry man!

Not sure what planet Scooter Braun is living on but obviously not this one...to be nominated for any award especially the Grammys, you have to be deserving of it and earn the right for that nomination. Justin Bieber is not deserving of such a prestige nomination nor has he earned it. Did Scooter Braun forget the reception Justing Bieber received at the Grey Cup? Justin Bieber is a spoiled, inconsiderate, selfish kid from Canada. Has Scoter Braun forget when Justin went home to Stratford Ontario for visit with Selena Gomez, that he treated his fans like dirt, complained they wouldn't leave him alone and now he wants a grammy nomination. Grow up Justin and Scooter as your glory days may be numbered. Dont forget who puts you where you are...

snubbed over nomination, are you kidding Scooter Braun?(where did you that name off a cereal box?)... this punk couldn"t carry a note in bucket if he tried!..must not be any tweens on the nomination panel..haha

It is so typical for everyone to get all negative and, judge someone who, has at a young age accomplished more than most of us ever will. Were all of you not young once? Of course most of his following is young girls but, that does not mean he has no talent. As far as complaining about not having any privacy he has every right to when everywhere he goes he is being followed and, probably chased ( remember Princess Diana)? Most of you would argue it comes with the territory but, it still gives every human being their right to privacy. I don't understand why people call him spoiled because he donates money to various causes and, makes appearances to visit alot of unfortunate children. When Justin and Selena were in Winnipeg this past summer they went to visit a local animal shelter and, Selena adopted a dog. As far as him wanting to be like Micheal Jackson - good for him! The Beibs has dreams and, there is nothing wrong with reaching for the stars. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion as far as music goes but, let's be a little nicer about it. I wish Justin Beiber nothing but much success and, I'm 40 ish but, young at heart.

It was bad enough that he received The Queens Jubilee Metal, there are WAY MORE deserving people in Canada than him. Boo -Hoo. !!! Just tryimg to make your self look good Scooter,as his manager !!!!!!!!!!!!

How can you compare this dweeb to Diana? That's ridiculous. Diana wouldn't show up to a high profile gig dressed like a two year old from the 80's. She had class bless her soul.

All the popular "music" being played on TV and on Radio (and all other forms of media) is marketed towards little kids who have money to spend and no taste whatsoever. Bieber, Minaj, Perry, Gaga, etc. are like The Wiggles for pre-teens.

Wow, people. Sad. Hating on a kid who has worked so hard to get where he is. I"m sorry, but are you on the Grammy board? No. Who are you to judge his talent, especially if you no nothing about music! He has been nominated before, so they obviously realize how talented he is. If you even bothered to listen to his music before judging, you would see it too. Its not just young girls who are his fans, too. Many different people are fans. He is going to be the Michael Jackson of this generation, and you are blind if you can't see it.

He really does deserve one ! He's worked so hard, and has accomplished sooo much!!!!!:(

Why is everyone so critical of Justin. He is a wonderful role model and from what I have seen and heard is as good or better then the ones they have nominated. My goodness he is only 18 and has given more money and his time to such worthy causes. I am so proud of him and his accomplishments. This decision will bite them in the buttocks!!!

How about do some research on him before you bash him! I can't wait for him to prove you all wrong!

And so begins the downward and out of control spiral of Justin Bieber. I hope he socked away a few bucks for the coming years because methinks the kid is going to quickly fade into the background.
I am thinking that in a few years he will be doing the casino stage circuit and will appear on Dancing With the Stars.
Maybe this is a good time to start a reality show about his life and keep his name in the media like Kathy Gifford is doing.
Maybe he should hook up with a Kardashin sister so we'll see his face in The Enquirer.
Hey Biebs what do you think about hitching up with "what's her face that used to make movies and is now famous for being arrested and then getting off?"
Oh yeah Lohan.....what was her first name? Linda, Louella, Lucy?

He has accomplished alot at such a young age. However, he does not have the strongest voice. As well, record sales due to young females does not equate to a grammy. If he can continue his success into his 20s after the tweens grow up & the new tweens fawn over the next young cute boy singer who can dance, by all means, give him a grammy.
PS - Taylor Swift does not have the best voice, but her songs are age appropriate and believable. I think she has deserved her grammies.

I can't tell you how happy I am to see the comments on this topic, slamming this whiney wannabe! A talentless, manufactured, pitch-corrected posterboy for everything wrong in the music industry today.
His manager thinks this moron deserves to be nominated because his song is currently in the Top 20? Newsflash! The winner of the award has to be in the Top ONE!
Boycott Bedwetter and his manager immediatelt and don't give them any more press.

And to show how proud he is of his musical accomplishments, Bieber shows up to accept an award in a T-Shirt and overalls. Yup...... that really went a long way to supporting your nomination there kid. What a perfect way to disgrace others that have received the award and not garner support for your achievments. You shot yourself in the foot, regardless of what your manager attempts to do to recover.

Justin , I am sure will have great SUCCESS in the future. however , Justin should fire his manager for taking it upon himself to make these comments , which brings bad karma and conversations like this. His Manager steped out of bounds.

Didn't need to complete the sentence. Just leave as "Bieber camp"....
