Nelly Furtado 5

Pop star Nelly Furtado has scaled back her January tour of Canada.

The Globe and Mail reports that the "Parking Lot" singer's January 9 concert at Vancouver's Orpheum Theatre has been moved to smaller venue Commodore Ballroom, and a January 18 show at Winnipeg's MTS Centre has been cancelled, as has a January 21 gig Ottawa's National Arts Centre.

However, Furtado has added dates to her "Spirit Indestructible Tour" at the Interior Savings Centre in Kamloops, British Columbia on January 11 and at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre in Burlington, Ontario on January 28.

Following the Canadian dates, she will head to Europe for a 10-date trek.
