3D Metallica film due out in August
Metallica will release Through The Never, a 3D movie shot over three days in Vancouver last summer, in theatres on August 9.
Written and directed by Nimród Antal (Kontroll, Predators), the film is a hybrid narrative-concert film and stars the band and actor Dane DeHaan (The Amazing Spider-Man 2) as a young roadie who is sent out on an urgent mission while the band is performing a show and "unexpectedly finds his world turned completely upside down," according to a press release.
The film is being distributed by Picturehouse and will be available on Netflix following its theatrical run.
