Depeche Mode's "Heaven" single due out February 5

Depeche Mode 2

Depeche Mode will give fans the first taste of their forthcoming 13th studio album next month.

Consequence of Sound reports that the yet-to-be-titled album's lead single is called "Heaven" and is due out on February 5. Pre-orders for the track are now open via Amazon.

Last month, the synth-pop veterans announced plans to release the follow-up to 2009's Sound of the Universe in March via their new label, Columbia Records.

"The music has a similar vibe to Violator and Songs of Faith and Devotion," band member Martin Gore said in a statement. "I think the songs on the album are among some of the very best we’ve done."

The band has announced a spring tour of Europe and will likely tour North America later in the year.
