Lady Gaga to buy Michael Jackson's Neverland?

Lady Gaga 24

Pop star and Michael Jackson memoribilia collector Lady Gaga is reportedly interested in buying into the late pop icon's Neverland ranch.

According to The Sun, Gaga is considering buying a share in the star's storied, 3,000-acre California estate, which featured a petting zoo and fairground, in order to restore it to its former glory.

"Lady Gaga is obsessed with Michael," a source told the tabloid. "She's become good friends with his sister La Toya, and would love more than anything else to restore Neverland to its original state.

"His kids are all desperate to hold on to their childhood home so they can decide what they want to do with it properly when they've grown up," the anonymous tipster added. "Gaga would love to help with the financial costs by buying a share."

In 2008, Jackson sold the property to investment group Sycamore Valley Ranch Company for US$23 million. His three children and mother, Katherine, also own shares in the ranch.
