Joey Ramone's record collection up for auction
Joey Ramone's private record collection and personal effects are going up for auction, Billboard reports.
In addition to 97 vinyl LPs, the late punk rocker's (pictured, second from right) clothes, sunglasses, passport, handwritten lyrics and Rolodex are also going on the auction block.
The items are from the Joey Ramone Estate and will be auctioned off by RR Auction beginning on February 14. There is a minimum bid of $500 and the auction ends on February 21.
The record collection is in "overall very good to fine condition" and includes albums by T. Rex, Cream, The Who, Bob Dylan, Elton John, Led Zeppelin, The Human League, Iggy Pop, KISS, The Doors and the Temptations. The collection is accompanied by a letter signed by Ramone's brother Mickey verifying its authenticity.
Ramone died in 2001 at age 49.
